Summary

We are seeking to appoint a Clerk to Governors to provide efficient, effective and confidential, administrative support to the Governing Body in the performance of its statutory obligations. Advising the Governing Body on constitutional matters, duties and powers, working within the broad current legislative framework to ensure the continuity of Governing Body business. The successful candidate will be required to attend and take minutes at up to 4 committee meetings and 1 full governing body meeting each term.

You will be joining St Laurence School and a dynamic Admin Team where good communication, office administration experience and ICT skills (Excel and Word) are essential.

Hours: 390 hours per annum (paid at 10 hours per week), 39 weeks per annum. Term Time + occasional work required in holidays. Actual hours will vary from week to week according to the schedule of meetings which are either held in the evenings at the School or online (up to 4 committee meetings and 1 full governing body meeting each term).
