Summary

Treatment Room Nurse, Lydden Surgery REPORTS TO: GP Partners (Clinically) Business Manager / Partner (Administratively) Job Summary: This is a permanent position working 16 hours per week likely over two days. Main duties of the job As a Treatment Room Nurse you will deliver safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the GP Surgery. You will be expected to maintain general nursing duties including undertaking wound care & delivering vaccinations with the option of undertaking cervical cytology screening, delivering childhood immunisations and providing contraception services and travel advice if/when you are qualified to do so. A basic knowledge of computers is essential. Previous use of EMIS would be an advantage however full training will be given. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this position Confidentiality: In the course of seeking treatment, patients entrust practice staff with, or allow us to gather, sensitive information in relation to their health and other matters.
