The Tenancy Services Manager will provide line management of the Regional Housing Advisors (RHA) and oversee the delivery of tenancy management, tenant safety and engagement services to tenants, their families and colleagues. They will lead and manage the housing management team, ensuring that it works efficiently and effectively to deliver excellent tenant focussed services that are regulatory compliant.

They will develop and implement key policies and procedures relating to housing management. The Tenancy Services Manager is responsible for tenant engagement and customer satisfaction with the Dimensions' housing management and tenant engagement services to tenants (and compliance with the relevant RSH consumer standard), as well as a housing management advice and support service to Operational colleagues who are supporting people in properties owned by other landlords (known as the “Landlord Service to Operations”).

About the role

Your main duties will include:

- Providing leadership and effective management of the housing management team and services to tenants, their families and support teams.

- Being responsible for the supervision and appraisal of staff members and using these to identify training and development requirements and agreeing future priorities.

- Lead the preparation and update of all relevant policy and procedure and to obtain appropriate legal advice relating to technical, financial, legal, or otherwise matters involved in the delivery of housing management service activities.

- Ensure Private Lettings are managed efficiently and effectively and that the hand back process is applied consistently.

About you

The successful applicant will have:

- Hold a level 4 qualification in housing management and relevant to housing management delivery within social housing. (Dimension will support with this).

- Able to demonstrate significant experience of managing disperse teams

- Willing to travel 2 days a week with some overnight stays

- Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of social housing, including RSH regulatory requirements, current related legislation, emerging government policy and recognised best practice
