You will be joining a global logistics provider with excellent benefits!
Typical hours and pay rates as a Warehouse Operative:
Induction and Day 1 will be Monday 01/07/2024 Immediate start! Shifts and Role will start on the Day shifts then everyone will be required to switch to Rotating shifts from 08/08/2024.
Day shifts:
- Payrate: £11.44 per hour
- Monday to Friday from 08:00am until 16:30pm total 40hours a week.
Rotating shift (From 08/08/2024):
- Pay rate: £12.30 per hour
- Monday to Friday, Rotating shifts AM 05:30am until 14:00pm and PM 13:30pm - 22:00pm switching Weekly between AM and PM hours.
Shift patterns and hours are non-negotiable, these are only for placements for Full time shifts on Rotating shift patterns only.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Willing to handle Alcohol, i.e. wine bottles
- General laboring duties as a warehouse operative
- Good level of communication
- Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standards
Your role as a Warehouse Operative:
- Picking and Packing items ready for distribution
- Using a handheld scanner to sort items
- Boxing items on a line/station and rework area
- Manual Lifting involved (up to 23 KG)
- Unloading & Loading containers
- Wrapping and Unwrapping Pallets
- Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standards
Requirements:
- PPE is required, but we can provide this
