Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Vinyl / Warehouse Operative with a FLT Counterbalance License and Reach to join our team in Trafford Park, Manchester. As the Vinyl / Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and wrapping Vinyl rolls to order, labelling and managing stock intake, and overseeing general day-to-day duties in the department. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating machinery, possess a FLT Counterbalance License and Reach, and be capable of manual handling of goods up to 30kg.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate machinery with due diligence to safety standards.
* Responsible use of manual handling equipment in line with qualifications and task requirements.
* Adherence to personal protective equipment usage as per company policies.
* Maintain accurate administration procedures in a timely fashion.
* Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods in accordance with the daily route plan.
* Assist in other departments as required.
* Keep the work area clean and tidy.
Job Requirements/Experience:
* Fluent native-level written and spoken proficiency.
* Numerically competent.
* Legal permission to work in the UK.
* Flexibility to perform additional tasks as required by the business or line manager.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Moving stock around by hand or using a fork-lift truck.
* Picking and packing orders.
* Goods loading and unloading.
* Stock allocation.
* Shipping and confirming goods on the computer system.
* Saw Operator experience would be advantageous, though not essential as training will be provided.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 11:00 am - 20:30 pm
* 1-hour lunch break
* Overtime as required up until 23.00
