Summary

Applicants will need to have a keen interest in developing new or existing skills in the use of diagnostic assessments for Neurodevelopmental Disorders. Experience of working with this population, either in children or adult services would be desirable however, interest and enthusiasm for working with neurodiverse children and young people is essential. The post also offers opportunities to contribute to service transformation and innovation, we have excellent links with local DClinPsy training programmes with current staff regularly providing teaching and placements and can provide the development of leadership skills through in-service experience and training. Travel is an integral part of this post and the post-holder will be a car owner/driver, or have suitable alternative transport to meet the needs of the post (It is unlikely that public transport will meet this requirement). This post is subject to a Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure at Enhanced level.
