Summary
Your new company
You will be joining a large charities local base as an accounts assistant on a 12-month FTC. They have a flexible, friendly working culture, with 35 hours a week worked between 7am-7pm (7 hours daily), and a 40% office / 60% home hybrid split.
Up to £30K + benefits package
Your new role
You will be reporting directly to the business accountant, assisting with reconciliations and standard data processing. Support for major functions held within the team including the delivery of accurate monthly financial reports, maintaining control accounts, as well as reviewing and developing financial policies within the charity to ensure strong financial management. Key focus on reconciliations and data processing.
Main duties:
Monthly reconciliation.
Ledger processing - including journals, invoices, credit control and related queries.
Comprehensive Income Reconciliation.
Supporting the senior team with the production of monthly management accounts and Year End assistance.
Resolving queries, and audit queries.
To undertake any other duties as appropriate to the role and organisational requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an enthusiastic individual who is an excellent communicator, with a high attention to detail, ready to hit the ground running.
You will have the ability to manage high volumes.
