As a Camp Leader, we are looking for you to get involved with the running of the programme events, ensuring the children are well
looked after, engaged, supported and most importantly having fun!

Using your Games Design skills either from digital or graphic design perspective, we will help you craft a session for the
children to learn skills and work towards the end goal of producing something which can be showcased!!

You’ll inspire young people to develop their own creativity, self-esteem and to value integrity, respect and collaboration with
others. We divide up the children into age groups so you will be working with different age children allowing you to share
different technical skills and techniques.

By drawing on your own hobby, not only will this be a highly enjoyable way to work through the summer but also a
great way to gain experience with working with children, which might support your current studies or career progression by
gaining substantial and meaningful experience through the school holidays.

We operate through every Nottinghamshire County Council school holiday.

The camp day is 7.30am to 6pm and we operate Monday to Friday. You can choose to work purely during our Skills Clinics which are
9am to 12pm or you can stay and work with us all day!

We would also need you to commit for whole weeks for consistency of the children in our care. We love seeing Camp Leaders return
each holiday and would be able to give some level of commitment to ongoing hours over an academic year.

Please note, you must be over 18 to apply for this role. This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (paid for by
YMCA) and registration with the DBS Update Service. We reserve the right to withdraw this role before the closing date should we
be able to appoint to the role.
