announce that we are launching a new apprenticeship programme at South Staffs Water, we are dedicated to delivering, dependable
water services to our customers. We are thrilled to introduce our new Operational Apprenticeship Programme, designed to develop
the next generation of water industry professionals.
We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our Networks Operational Team for 30 months. As an apprentice, you
will earn a qualification in either Level 3 water industry Treatment Process Technician or Level 3 Water industry Network
Technician while gaining invaluable hands-on experience and comprehensive classroom learning.

apprenticeships provide a unique opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge essential for a successful career in the water
industry.
What you’ll need:
* Have achieved or are working towards a GCSE Grade 4 or above in Maths and English or equivalent (beneficial)
* Full UK Driving License (or working towards)
* A keen interest in engineering and the water industry
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
* A good work ethic
* Dedication to achieving your qualification and making a positive impact in your role.
The Role:
* Assist in the operation and maintenance of water treatment and distribution systems.
* Learn and adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Conduct routine inspections and monitor water quality.
* Support the team in responding to operational incidents and emergencies.
* Participate in training programs and complete coursework related to the apprenticeship.
Our Program
Level 3 Water Industry Treatment Process Technician:
The new Level 3 Water Industry Treatment Process Technician has been developed to support the maintenance of site process
standards for water or wastewater. This is a core and option apprenticeship.
Level 3 Water Industry Network Technician:
The new Level 3 Water Industry Network Technician has been developed to support technicians responsible for responding to
incidents and monitoring water or wastewater networks, resolving issues or identifying action required.
