We’re looking for someone with experience and enthusiasm to successfully manage the diverse leisure, culture and heritage contracts across Cannock Chase District and Stafford Borough Councils.

This is a new post working across our two local authorities and the successful applicant will have the ability to shape the role to ensure the best possible outcomes.

You will work with partners to ensure excellent quality, customer focused services which promote and support healthy communities.

You will be confident working independently and as part of a wider team, you will be proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high quality services for residents.

Essential requirements for this role include:

• Experience in managing contracts that deliver public services
• Excellent communication skills
• Relationship building and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at the highest level
• Experience of delivering corporate objectives, priorities, and projects on time, on budget and to the highest standards
• Experience of successfully procuring services
• The ability to resolve disputes and ensure excellent outcomes
