Summary


To provide Clinical Leaders with a high comprehensive level of PA administrative support and effective line management responsibilities for Ward Clerks, Procurement Administrator, Medical Records Administrator and E-Rostering Administrator.

To provide cover and support for PA’s and other administrative staff in the Unit as required.

The postholder will need to liaise directly with Ward Managers, and other Departments such as Medical Records to ensure administrative requirements are prioritised and undertaken as required.



The role requires an experienced individual with previous relevant experience in the day-to-day management of staff and experienced Personal Assistant with the skills and qualifications to meet the needs of the Clincal Leaders. Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of administrative processes within our hospital. You will oversee a team of administrative staff, providing leadership and guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.

The postholder will be required to supervise a team of 6 members of staff as well as supporting Clinical Leaders with their day to day admin needs which includes knowledge of recruitment, e-rostering, procurement and medical records. The postholder will also have basic experience of finance process.
