The job:
You will be a Personal Assistant to a mum who has epilepsy and lives in her own bungalow with her teenage son. The main focus of the role is to support her to live her daily life by supporting her with cleaning her home, with making her breakfast and generally to be on hand in case she has a seizure. You will also support her to attend medical appointments and ensure she takes her medication. No personal care is required.

She has a loving and dedicated family around her who live very close and are on hand at all times.

She has a very small but friendly dog.

The right person:
The ideal candidate is someone who has experience of providing care and support to individuals, particularly experience supporting someone who has seizures.

A driver with a car is desirable but not essential.

The hours:
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to work 8.00am-4.00pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The rates of pay and benefits:
PAs are paid £11.44 per hour
You will receive paid holidays and the opportunity for training relevant to your role.

Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. This post is subject to DBS checks, the cost of which will be met by your employer.
