About the role

Our dynamic leisure centre is currently seeking a dedicated Leisure Centre Supervisor to oversee our facility's operations and staff. You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the leisure centre and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Ensuring the centre is run effectively and efficiently, you’ll lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve excellence in service delivery.

About you

With a proven track record in managing a leisure or fitness centre, you’ll be committed to providing outstanding customer service. Using your well-honed communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll be experienced in developing and promoting new and existing activities and services to gain maximum customer participation. Although you’ll be required to hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), if this role sounds perfect but you don’t currently hold it, don’t be put off – we can provide you with everything you need to become qualified!

If you don’t already have an NPLQ, we will be running courses week commencing 10 June to be held to one Leisure, Ramsey and week commencing 1 July, location to be confirmed. You’ll need to be available to attend one of the five day courses.

This role is subject to a DBS check.

An offer of employment is conditional upon having the right to work in the UK. Huntingdonshire District Council does not hold a Sponsorship Licence and are unable to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) or take over Sponsorship for any role.
