The Grand Opera House is the largest theatre in York at just under 1,000 seats. The Theatre was re-launched in October 2022 following significant investment in its bars, dressing rooms and seating. We host a varied programme from west-end touring musicals and plays to popular comedians and one night music gigs. We pride ourselves on delivering a gold-standard welcome to everyone that comes through our doors, whether that be audiences or Visiting Companies.

The Deputy Customer Experience Manager (DCEM) role is directly line managed by the Customer Experience Manager (CEM) and is responsible for supporting the CEM to lead a strong Front of House operation. You will assist in ensuring that a cost effective and customer focused range of services are consistently provided to the highest standards. Please note this is a fixed term contract of 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
