Cochrane Care Home, nestling next to its sister home, Ranfurly, enjoys a pleasant position in the leafy suburbs of Johnstone, with much of the home overlooking parkland. A modern purpose-built home, was constructed in 2003 with 65 single rooms, all with en-suite facilities. There are a number of comfortable lounges and dining rooms, all of which are well-appointed and offer the opportunity for residents to comfortably socialise. The grounds and gardens are tranquil and well-maintained, allowing residents to take some fresh air safely and comfortably. There is plenty of onsite parking for visiting family and friends, and the centre of Johnstone, with all its amenities, is a short 10-minute bus journey.

Requirements

Duties will include but not limited to:

Travel to all 4 Care Homes in West Scotland.
Carry out competent repair work.
Provide a maintenance and reactive service.
Ensure all aspects of compliance are in line with current legislation.
Maintain accurate records.
Regularly inspect and test equipment.
Carry out minor electrical repairs.
Carry out minor plaster patching.
Carry out decorating works.
You will also be required to:

Maintain professional knowledge and competence.
Complete mandatory training days and online courses.
Essential candidate criteria:

Full UK Driving License.
