Summary
The Continuous Improvement Manager plays a pivotal role in our Facilities Management operation, leading efforts to drive continuous improvement in processes and service delivery while ensuring the highest levels of safety in a manufacturing environment. This position requires a dynamic individual with a Green Belt qualification for process improvement and a NEBOSH qualification for safety management.
Key Responsibilities:
Change Management:
-Continuous Improvement: Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across the facilities management operation, focusing on enhancing processes, service delivery, and efficiency.
-Process Analysis: Analyze existing processes to identify areas for improvement, streamline workflows, and eliminate bottlenecks.
-Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise data and metrics to identify trends, measure performance, and make informed decisions for process optimisation.
-Change Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes effectively, ensuring minimal disruptions to ongoing operations.
-Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to staff to build their skills in process improvement methodologies.
Safety Management:
-Safety Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact and leader for all safety-related matters within the manufacturing operation.
-Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, standards, and company policies.
-Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and safety audits regularly to identify potential hazards and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
-Incident Response: Develop and implement effective incident response protocols and lead investigations into safety incidents and accidents.
-Employee Training: Oversee safety training programs, ensuring that all employees are well-informed and trained to work safely.
-Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
Qualifications:
-Green Belt certification in process improvement methodologies.
-NEBOSH qualification in safety management.
-Proven experience in change management, process improvement, and safety management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
-Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
-Excellent analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
-Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
