Summary
Service Care Solutions are working with a Substance Misuse Support Service to Find a Chef to work for a Residential Detox in South Yorkshire.
Job Role: Chef
Salary: Up to £25.500 per Year
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: South Yorkshire
Permanent Contract
Main duties of the role:
- Prepare menus as agreed with the Centre Manager.
- Ensure that religious and cultural dietary needs are catered for.
- Respond to requests for special therapeutic diets when advised.
- Ensure that the clients take responsibility to clean and lay tables correctly.
- Ensure that the clients wash up and tidy as part of their therapeutic duties.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Comply with food hygiene standards, Health and Safety legislation, Emergency and Fire procedures.
Essential Criteria
- 1 year's experience in a similar role - Essential
- Certificate in food handling and hygiene awareness - Essential
