Finance Manager
The Canaan Trust now seeks to recruit a Finance Manager.
The post of Finance Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of all aspects of the financial management of the Trust.
The Canaan Trust operates 24-7, 365 days per year from its base on Main Street, Long Eaton. The Trust is a Christian Charity providing support and care for anyone who is homeless, in danger of becoming homeless, or in need.
The Trust cares for each unique individual or family in a holistic, person centre manner. The Trust’s objective is to safeguard, support, and enable each individual or family to address the issues which may have led to their homelessness or be threatening them with becoming homeless. The Trust seeks to support each individual or family to ‘Re-build their Lives” and to achieve independent living in the community.
Overview of the Finance Manager’s role:
> Provide sound financial advice to the Chief Officer of the Canaan Trust, the Board of Trustees and others
> Provide a high quality and effective financial management service to the Charity
> Prepare, develop and analyse management accounting information
> Ensure compliance with all relevant financial statutory and regulatory matters The
Financial Manager Package:
> Contracted Hours 22.5 hours per week, office based, flexible working pattern
> Pro rata 28 days Annual Leave including statutory bank holidays
> Staff pension scheme
> Full Time annual salary (pro rata) £35,000
