We are looking for Support Workers to work in a great and passionate team environment to ensure the continuation of our high standard of care across the Deva Independent Living Village in Blacon, Chester. You will be supporting vulnerable adults living in their own homes with some care needs.

What you will be doing… You’ll be working with a warm, friendly team based in Deva Independent Living Village. Joining Starcare you will not just be joining a Care Company; it’s a family who supports clients and staff to deliver a high standard of care to clients in their own homes.


Job Opportunity

Duties include:

  • Personal care
  • Assisting with daily living tasks
  • Social support
  • Maintaining and promoting dignity
  • Supporting independence and ensuring well-being at all times


Shifts available:

We have a variety of shifts available and can provide flexibility for successful candidates.

  • 7am to 3pm
  • 3pm to 10pm
  • 10pm to 8am

* All of our vacancies will include alternate weekend working.


Essential Skills

Qualities

  • A caring individual who is passionate about providing high standards of care to support vulnerable adults and improve their quality of life
  • Able to provide emotional and social support whilst maintaining the dignity and respect of the resident.
  • Compassionate, conscientious, with a commitment to high quality work
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and flexible
  • Ability to use initiative and on occasion work under pressure
  • Previous experience of personal care is preferable, but full training will be provided.

Previous experience in a care setting is preferable, but not essential as full training is provided throughout your career.
