Summary
We are seeking a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentice, working within Little Oaks Nursery. This is an exciting opportunity in our early years setting which is open all year round. We are looking to welcome into our team an enthusiastic apprentice, with a passion and commitment for Early Years provision.
What will the apprentice be doing?
Key duties:
• Help with the delivery of creative and fun opportunities according to children’s needs and interests to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS.
• Develop good strong relationships and communication with children parents/carers.
• Work creatively with children so they develop, learn and grow.
• Ensure all children have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
• Experience of working with children in an early learning environment
• Good communication skills
• Be a team player
This role may be closed early if a sufficient number of applications are received.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner.
- Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
- End Point Assessment – Knowledge Test and Professional

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
- Employment at the end of the apprenticeship is possible.
