Summary


Central delivery Suite (CDS) are looking for a dynamic, motivated and eager ward clerk to join our team of dedicated professionals.

You will be one of the first people to greet our women and our families and demonstrate our strong Bolton values.

At times may be expected to rotate to others areas within the maternity Antenatal clinic, Antenatal day unit, Antenatal ward and the Postnatal ward and Community Office team to cover the needs of the service.

You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day/ night service. You will need to have excellent customer service skills and be familiar with a ward environment and etiquette. You also must have excellent communication skills and be able to prioritise your own workload and work within the multidisciplinary team.

As you are the first face that our women and visitors will see on arrival you must have a polite and courteous disposition.

You will also require to have good computer skills as you will be using the trust's digital systems such as patient management.

You will also be responsible for management of patient records, help facilitate admissions and discharges and book follow on referrals/appointments if necessary.

You will be responsible for generating NHS numbers from the spine when needed and supporting other departments in this.
