About the role

The Faculty of Service Industries are now looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Health and Social Care Tutor to join the well established team. This is a fast-paced and diverse role, in which you will work closely with other Tutors to provide high quality and responsive teaching and learning to young people across a range of levels from 1 up to T-Levels.

Other duties will include:

To manage, develop, promote, and review the learning programmes within the area and be aware of and apply national trends and developments within the programme area.
To maintain up-to-date records, reports, profiles, course files etc.
To carry out the general administrative duties associated with the post, including registers, timetabling requirements etc.
To contribute to the marketing, promotions and enhancing of the profile of the working in the health and social care industry.

About the person

The successful candidate will possess:

Excellent communication skills
Enthusiasm, organisation skills and commitment to training young people for the health and social care industry.
A Level 3 or equivalent in curriculum area.
Prior experience of working in the health and social care industry
Recent and relevant teaching and learning experience in the curriculum area.
