Summary

Halo Recruit are working in partnership with one of the UKs leaders in frozen supply chain solutions to recruit for experienced Handballers to join their day shift teams based out of Holmewood, Chesterfield.

With immediate starts available, these vacancies are an exciting opportunity for temporary to permanent work for the right candidates!

Own transport for work is preferred due to shift times .

Hours of Work - Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm

Pay Rate - £11.44 per hour + £20 p/w shift allowance (subject to full attendance).

MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE

As a Handballer, you will be responsible for:

  • Handballing stock around the warehouse, and loading and unloading lorries
  • Stacking orders ready for dispatch
  • Warehousing
  • Carrying out hygiene duties as required

This is a physically demanding role and candidates must be capable of carrying out manual handling and lifting of items up to 25kg.

The work is conducted in a temperature controlled environment, and suitable PPE is provided.

These roles are temporary to permanent, with the opportunity for a perm contract after 12 weeks.
