Summary
To work as a rehabilitation assistant across the ENable Team and the Falls Team delivering care to people in their own homes, the local community and/or designated buildings (such as Care homes, Ealing day treatment centre, Clayponds Hospital, Charity halls/Community centres. Occasional support might need to be provided to other services in the maximising directorate. To assist the therapists by carrying out delegated aspects of patient care with supervision as required, reporting back patient progress and informing qualified staff of any issues. To assist with equipment ordering and stock control for department supplies and ensuring that these are received in full and good working order, following up on any outstanding items or actions as required. To undertake support work to aid the rehabilitation of patients in the community or the management of patients at home to prevent an unnecessary hospital admission. To assist with running of various therapist lead group exercise sessions such as upper limb exercise class, Falls, balance & strength class and adapted tai chi exercise class.
