Summary

ED50247772 Scale: Grade 3 Hours: 35 Hours per week/39 weeks and Permanent Salary: SCP 3-6 (pro rata) £22,737 - £23,893 Start: September 2024 We are looking for a DT Technician who is a resistant materials/engineering specialist to join our team. Cardiff West Community High School is a vibrant, diverse and inclusive community school in the West of Cardiff. The school opened in September 2017 and we moved into an all-purpose new school site in April 2019. The successful candidates will be able to provide reliable and flexible support. You should be able to demonstrate excellent skills when working within a Laboratory and with young learners. The successful candidates will need to have good interpersonal skills, be confident and innovative, reliable and flexible. Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). This salary is subject to the Living Wage supplement which brings pay rates up to £12 per hour (scp 2 - 4). This supplement will be reviewed in January 2024 and thereafter annually in April. Cardiff Council reserves the right to make any changes to, or removal of, the Living Wage supplement. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
