Summary
Manby Lodge Infant School, Oatlands Infant School & Cleves Junior School are looking for a Home School Link Work to work across the 3 schools starting from September 2024.
Home School Link Worker
Contract Type: Term
Time Only, 2 Year Contract
Salary: Surrey PS7
We are looking for a committed, caring and enthusiastic
individual to work across the schools to improve the life outcomes and opportunities for school-aged children and their families by providing a range of family support interventions and activities.
The hours to be covered are 18 hours each week across the 3 schools.Key deliverables include:
• Working directly with children and families, individually and in groups, particularly focusing on parenting skills, behaviour management and practical supports.• Supporting teachers in facilitating the emotional and educational development of targeted children.• Delivering intervention activities for pupils including reading programmes, literacy and numeracy support.• Identification and appropriate referral of children in need cases for initial assessment to school's child protection officer.• Liaising with relevant agencies to improve swift and easy access to statutory and voluntary services.• Keeping clear records on meetings and contacts, recording actions to be taken.
• Co-ordinating safeguarding paperwork, referrals and meetings between other agencies.
