We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced B3 Healthcare Assistant to join Ripley Medical Centre, a forward thinking and innovative Practice providing primary care services for 6,000 patients.
We require a Healthcare Assistant who can take Bloods Tests ECG's, basic wound care, Diabetes Part 1, B12 and immunisation injections, and NHS Health checks.
The Health Care Assistant is a core member of the practice team and will provide physical and psychological care to patients in accordance with the specified plan of care and as directed by a registered nurse or other qualified practitioner.
The Health Care Assistant will work to provide person centred and safe care to all patients and accurately record and report patient information to the registered nurse in a timely way and in line with agreed procedures
Ripley Medical Centre is part of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS FT and the role is under AfC.
• Ripley Medical Centre is a large practice of over 6,000 patients and use TPP SystmOne Clinical system.
• CQC rated Good in all areas in 2016, alongside DCHS rated as an Outstanding NHS Trust in 2019.
• Multi-disciplinary clinical team of Salaried GPs, Advanced Clinical and Care Practitioners, Practice Nurse and HCA team.
• Established admin and reception team.
• Strong educational ethos; Training Practice for GP Trainees and Medical Students with accredited trainers, but with all clinicians taking an active interest and contributing to training.
• Active participants in ARCH PCN
