Summary

The post holder is primarily responsible for providing assessment/therapies (particularly Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp) and Family Interventions) to people experiencing psychosis related difficulties in receipt of a service from the Wigan / Leigh Early Intervention Team. Although the post holder will be primarily responsible for providing psychological input to individual clients, they will function as an integral member of the services multi-disciplinary team, and will on occasion support care coordination, crisis management and other tasks that will support us to provide the best possible service to our clients. In conjunction with other psychological therapists working within the service, the post holder will contribute as appropriate to the provision of individual and group evidenced based interventions. The post holder will contribute to the supervision and development of other staff. The post holder will work within the policies, procedures and guidelines for the Wigan / Leigh Directorate and the Early Intervention Service. The post holder will plan and organise their work schedule and tasks within the parameters of the Job Plan agreed with the Team Manager.
