Summary
Meeting and greeting visitors/ staff to the ward in a courteous and professional manner
Provide administrative and clerical support
Ensure the availability of accurate patient records and documentation as per Trust Policies and Procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information as per Trust Policy and in line with Information Governance Guidance.
The post holder will be a leading figure on the ward,
Main Duties
To support ward staff with GIRFT requirement, follow up patients with phone call, collect feedback from patient experience.
To ensure all Patients, Visitors and colleagues receive a courteous, efficient and sympathetic service.
To promote excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
To attend the ward meetings and patient best interest meetings and acting as Secretarial support taking and typing the notes
To understand and comply with all ward work, procedures, policies and standards set down by the department and the Trust.
Prioritise own workload to ensure completion of data base entry and other admin duties to ensure deadlines are met.
