The opportunity

Are you an enthusiastic IT Support Analyst looking to provide 2nd line support in a large enterprise environment? We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our IT Support Services team.

With a can-do attitude, you’ll play a vital role in supporting users both remotely and desk-side, with most of your work being escalated from our IT Service Desk. You’ll support both staff and student computers providing a quick response to standard day-to-day issues and requests, as well as engaging with projects.

Though you’ll be based at Lime Grove, occasional travel to other UAL sites including High Holborn and Mare Street may be required.

About you

This role will suit an experienced Support Analyst looking to expand their skill set within a large and complex environment.

You will need a professional IT qualification / technical degree or relevant experience, as well as knowledge of PC and Mac hardware maintenance, networking technologies, desktop and mobile troubleshooting and an awareness of ITIL.

The successful candidate should also have experience of:

• Working in a Second line IT support role within an enterprise environment
• Working across Windows and Mac environments, deploying and configuring operating systems, maintaining hardware and fault-finding using command line tools
• Leading and motivating support teams
• Supporting Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and other basic network services
• Working across an ITIL aligned environment
• Supporting various AV environments including fault diagnosis, configuration and maintenance

You will possess excellent customer service skills, and will demonstrate a logical, analytical approach to problem solving, interpreting customer requests to resolve problems.
