Summary

As a registered nurse you will be expected to deliver nursing care to patients who are awaiting discharge to preferred place of home. You will deliver personal care , medication, Iv meds and support the ward in delivering well being sessions for patients in the dayroom. You will also be part of the MDT and attend board round to ensure that patients are discharged safely and you will be required to support the ward manager with maintaining efficient patient flow on the ward. While patients remain in hospital we actively support the patients to maintain their well being and encourage our patients to remain active and motivated to maintain independence as much as possible.
