HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT

Grade : JM06 £25,979 PRO-RATA TO CONTRACT
Actual salary £22,350.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person to join our team of Higher Level Teaching Assistants. The main purpose of Job is to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities. This will involve delivery of learning activities for individuals, groups and whole classes in the absence of teaching staff.
The successful person will have experience of working with children in a learning environment ideally as a Teaching Assistant Level 3 (or equivalent).
You will possess a Certificate in Learning Support and GCSEs in English and Maths at least at Grade C (or equivalent qualifications).
John Masefield was recognised by OFSTED in November 2022 as a good school. It is particularly noted for the quality of the curriculum, care, guidance and support, and leadership and management. We have excellent standards of pastoral care, and superb enrichment opportunities. Staff have access to free on-site parking and the Local government Pension Scheme.
