Reporting to the Additional Works/Workshop Supervisor, your key responsibilities will be:


Assume responsibility and cover for the Additional Works/Workshop Supervisor in their absence
To carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) as required by both manufacturer and individual contracts/customers
Complete all relevant paperwork
Input data on to the computer system/handheld scanners
Report all damage and faults when found
Train PDI team/new starters
Carry out PDI audits
Carry out enhancement/option fits
Train fitters on option fits
Carry out option fit audits
Participate in various manufacture training courses on and off site
Ensure all products used while carrying out daily tasks are used in accordance with manufactures specifications
Ensure that all tasks are carried out in compliance with health and safety, COSHH and EPA regulations and guidelines
Undertake any reasonable task requested by the Production Manager or any of the Workshop Supervisors
Ensure that all documentation is accurately completed and that all company procedures are followed


To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:


Previous experience in the PDI and option fits within workshops
Have own tooling
A full UK valid driving licence is essential
Comfortable to work under pressure to strict deadlines
Flexible to work overtime if required
A good working knowledge of vehicle workshop operations
Able to work well on your own or as part of a team
Able to maintain a clean and litter free workstation at all times
Computer literate
Have a “can do” attitude
