The Client:
Our client is a well-established marine dealership, focusing on servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and injector cleaning.
The Role:
As a Marine Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing marine outboard engines.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and troubleshoot faults and issues.
- Install and outfit outboard engines onto boats.
- Adjust trailers as necessary.
- Load and unload boats.
- Offer individualised customer service.
- Carry out relevant administrative tasks.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Previous experience working in a similar role.
- Possess 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Possess mechanical experience.
Desirable:
- Marine industry experience.
- Background in boat and trailer fit out.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Capability for occasional heavy lifting.
