Summary

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Lecturer to join the School of Allied Health Professions, Nursing and Midwifery.

● You will be: committed to developing your research profile through high-quality publications, applying for research funding and working with communities and partners to deliver impact.
● You will also be: an engaging teacher and play a key role in devising, designing, preparing, and delivering innovative teaching programmes, equipping our graduates to advance understanding in Speech and Language Therapy and be at the forefront of our profession.

We are looking for candidates with expertise in one or more of the following: children’s speech, language and communication needs, adults with communication impairments, eating, drinking and swallowing (EDS), evidence based practice, clinical skills and professional development. Other areas of expertise can also be considered.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with colleagues to deliver the pre-registration Speech and Language Therapy degree programmes. These are the BMedSci Speech and Language Therapy, the MMedSci Speech and Language Therapy (full and part time) and the BSc Speech and Language Therapy (Degree Apprenticeship) programmes. Other duties will include student engagement, student recruitment and student support.
