Media Technician
Based in LS23 but site work is required

  • Full time, permanent

The Role:

The company is seeking a highly skilled and creative Media Technician to join the growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of media production tasks, supporting the video department and the wider business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Videography and Video Production: Capture high-quality video content, operate and maintain equipment, and collaborate with the creative team on video concepts
  • Video Editing and Post-Production: Edit footage using industry-standard software, perform enhancements, and ensure videos meet organisational standards
  • Graphic Design and Animation: Create graphics, develop animations and motion graphics, and use graphic design software for high-quality designs
  • Event Content Production: Design and produce multimedia event content, collaborate with event organizers, and provide on-site technical support
  • Livestream Broadcasting and IMAG Camera Operations: Manage livestream setups, operate IMAG cameras during live events, and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Equipment and Technical Support: Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, stay updated with media technologies, and provide training to team members
  • Collaboration and Communication: Plan and execute media projects, communicate with stakeholders, and contribute to brainstorming sessions and meetings
  • Additional Support Duties: Assist the video department and business as needed, supporting various media-related projects and tasks


The Person:

This is a wonderful opportunity for a talented and motivated Media Technician with a passion for media production and creativity.

As well as having a technical brain and keen eye for detail, you will have the following:

  • Degree in Media Production, Film, Graphic Design, or related field preferred but not essential
  • Demonstrable experience in videography, video editing, graphic design, or similar role
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro X (FCPX)
  • Strong skills in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Experience with animation software and techniques (e.g., Adobe After Effects)
  • Knowledge of video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear
  • Familiarity with livestream broadcasting tools and techniques
  • Experience with camera operations for live events
