Summary

Ward Security is looking for a committed Loading Bay Officer to become a valuable member of our team based at 80 Fenchurch Street – located in London’s famous financial square mile within walking distance to Aldgate and historic Spitalfields.


Position: Loading Bay Officer
Pay rate: £12.88 per hour
Shift Pattern: 7 on 3 off 7 on 4 off days and nights
Location: 80 Fenchurch Street EC3M 4BT


Must have:

• Valid SIA licence
• Cooperate Security experience minimum 1 year
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Basic IT Skills.

Duties:
• Maintain security and access control to the loading bay area
• Act as a point of contact and information centre to tenants, responding promptly and professionally to any raised concerns, whether in person, over the phone, or via email.
• Ensure deliveries are received in a timely manner and that the relevant documentation is kept update
• Identify any potential issues and communicate effectively to prevent misunderstandings.
• Conduct regular H&S audits and escalate any concerns to the Site Manager
• Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly and take appropriate action
• Ensure the loading bay users keep the loading bays tidy and restrict themselves to their working areas and keep their bins and cages in their allocated areas.
• Any other duties that the Company may request from time to time that have not been included in the above.
