Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Surrey. As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential care and assistance to individuals in need. This is a rewarding role that requires empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
- Support children, adults and families in need
- Provide personal care and support to individuals in their homes
- Assist with daily activities
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Implement behaviour management strategies as needed
Experience:
- At least 6 months experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker in the UK
Desired:
Care Certificate
NVQ in Care
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and their families
- Compassion and empathy towards those in need of support
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills to manage daily tasks and schedules
- Patience and understanding when dealing with challenging situations
