Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity to kick-start your career with a leading Substance Misuse charity that provides support within the community to individuals who are misusing alcohol?

Working within a small dynamic team you will receive intensive support and training whilst giving you the chance to work with clients and gain on-the-job experience. Our client base all have a history of alcohol misuse and our role is support them in making changes to their lives to support a reduction in their alcohol use and lead a healthier and happier lifestyle.

As a Trainee Alcohol Recovery Practitioner based in Essex, you will work with a small caseload of clients to deliver assessments, one to one sessions, harm minimisation, group work, and onward referrals. You will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the lives of people in addiction, as we well as their families and the wider community.

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, who can connect and empathise with individuals from all walks of life. You must have good organisational and admin skills. You must also be willing to learn and undertake independent research to upskill yourself and an enthusiasm to work as part of a team and in a flexible manor.
