Summary
Level 3 nursery nurse to work with 0-2.5yr olds in full day care nursery.
The post is for 34 hours per week over 4 days, Monday to Friday, no bank holidays.
Essential:-
Previous experience with a knowledge of the new Development Matters document; be always respectful of others; have a flexible approach to the role and be self-motivated.
Desirable:-
Baby/toddler room experience, 0-2.5yr olds.
Food hygiene certificate and paediatric first aid certificate an advantage but not necessary. A knowledge of Makaton would be useful.
You will provide early years education and general care/hygiene for the children; you will be responsible for planning activities, maintaining written records, help with snacks and mealtimes and work as part of the team in the general day to day running of the nursery. You need a cheerful disposition and be willing to have fun in our family centred early years setting. We are open all year round, Monday to Friday, 8-5.30pm.
