Summary

The Games and ESports department are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic technician to support our students and staff with the management of our new Games Hub facilities and resources. Part of this role will require the successful candidate to participate and complete a Level 3 Information Communication Technician Apprenticeship.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a technical competence working with a range of Games and Esports technology as well as support staff with the running and streaming a variety of ESports events. Candidates will monitor and effective use and management of SSC Games and Esports resources.

This new role is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in the technical aspects of live events, streaming and production to work alongside our teaching team to bring out the confidence and creativity of our students, in a supportive environment, helping to drive the professionalism of our students towards future opportunities in the industry.



The successful applicant should ideally have supporting qualifications either in Esports or games production or relevant industry experience, alongside ideally a proven track record of working with students to support, inspire and motive, while ensuring the technical needs of the department are met.
