Summary
Are you an experienced Design Manager or Senior Design Manager with a passion for healthcare projects? My main contractor client is seeking talented professionals to join their team in London. Their projects are at the forefront of healthcare construction (amongst many), offering challenging and rewarding opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the design process from tender to project completion.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineering teams to deliver innovative healthcare solutions.
- Ensure all design aspects comply with regulatory and client standards.
- Coordinate and lead design meetings and workshops.
- Oversee design risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Manage design documentation and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
- Monitor and control project costs related to design elements.
- Review and approve design changes and variations.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Design Manager or Senior Design Manager.
- Experience in managing projects from tender to completion.
- Strong background in healthcare projects is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of design processes and construction methodologies.
- Ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Relevant qualifications in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
