Summary

Exciting Opportunity for an Editorial Communications Manager at Pharmaceutical Press!

Salary: up to £50,000 per annum
Contract: 12 month fixed term contract

Pharmaceutical Press, a world-leader in providing evidence-based drug and medicine information, is looking for a talented Editorial Communications Manager to join our team. As part of our vision to become the world leader in the safe and effective use of medicines, we aim to continue expanding awareness of our content among users and customers, such as healthcare professionals and scientists.

In this critical role, you'll be the point of contact for all communication and marketing campaigns. Your deep understanding of healthcare will enable you to drive activities promoting our content. Ensuring that our external communications are accurate, engaging, and appropriate will be a key aspect of your role.

You will also manage content-related queries from end users and the broader healthcare system, ensuring they are handled efficiently and escalated as necessary.

Requirements:

A degree in pharmacy, medicine, or a related clinical field, and a solid understanding of the clinical uses of drugs and medicines.
A deep understanding of how end-users use Pharmaceutical Press content.
Proven experience working within communications teams and producing engaging copy for communications or marketing campaigns.
Experience in an editorial environment, including knowledge of content creation processes, validation and quality assurance, and delivery processes.
Experience in cross-functional working.

The Team

Pharmaceutical Press publications are produced by an editorial team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and scientists, with a range of backgrounds and experience. A team with a diverse workload, we rely on good communication and work in a flexible, collaborative way to create high-quality medicines information for users of our content.

How we are currently working

RPS supports and works in a hybrid way, which means you will be able to work from home, however, there will be an expectation for collaborative face-to-face working – on average and typically this may be something between 4-8 working days per month at our London Office.
