Summary
Veterinary Surgeon - Liverpool
• Independent, refurbished, family run practice
• Onsite radiography, ultrasonography and benefit from a bespoke dental suite

I am currently representing a fantastic, independent practice located in South Liverpool surrounded by green parks and independent eateries!
The practice has recently undergone a full refurbishment, which included expanding into the neighbouring property. The new layout caters to the individual needs of the patients, with bespoke cat and dog waiting areas and wards. Spacious and cosy staff relaxation areas were equally at the forefront of the design process. Supporting their passion to create environments where team members can thrive.
The practice encourages and support areas of interest and have visiting specialists for ultrasonography, cardiology, orthopaedics and soft-tissue surgery so there is the case load available for someone with one of these interests or a fantastic knowledge base to support case workups.
Work-life balance is crucial and breaks throughout the day are essential as well. These factors are all considered in their rota, allowing individuals time to contemplate cases, discuss challenging issues, or simply have a moment for relaxation, such as enjoying a cup of tea and conversing with colleagues. The team conducts regular well-being meetings to ensure that support is provided to maintain a healthy work-life balance for everyone
You will join a fabulous, close knit team of 4 Vets, 5 RVNs along with leadership and receptionists. They are dedicated to the environmentally minded and have achieved Green status with IIE.
Rota:
• 3 or 4 day week (flexible and happy to discuss what works best for you)
• 1:4 Saturday mornings 8:30-1:30pm
• No ooh
The package:
• Generous salary up to £65,000 DOE
• 6.6 weeks holidays inclusive of ban holidays (pro rata)
• CPD allowance: 3 days and £1500 per annum - negotiable and certificates supported
• Company pension scheme
• RCVS and BVA fees paid
• Staff discount
• Cycle to work scheme
