Summary
365 people are currently seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client at Evesham.

They are recognised as a leading distributor of fresh and chilled products to supermarket RDC's and NDC's throughout the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting temperature controlled goods over long distances in a timely and safe manner.
RDC and NDC delivery experience desirable
Duties:
-Drivers will be expected to back on to a loading bay to be unloaded
- Safely operate HGV to transport goods to various locations
- Load and unload cargo following safety procedures
- Follow routes and meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Maintain accurate driving logs
- Adhere to UK road regulations and company policies
Collections are also included at times.
NO HANDBALL
Skills:
- Proven experience as a HGV driver
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
To be considered for this Class 1 Driver role you must have the following;
- HGV C+E Licence for a minimum of 6 months
- Full CPC
- Digital Tacho Card
-Right to work documents
- Proof of address
- Proof of NI number
- Previous chilled distribution experience
Start times can vary but we are looking for Class 1 drivers who can start between 06:00 - 11:00 for day shifts and 16:00 - 23:00 for night shifts
Pay rate Class 1 driver :
Monday to Friday Days £165 per shift
Monday to Friday Nights £175per shift
Saturday day £182 per shift
Sunday day £190 per shift
Saturday night £190 per shift
Sunday night £198 per shift
