What will you be doing as a E-Learning Support Office?

  • Working on an exciting and new project from design to delivery you will work under the direction of the eLearning Manager to support in the development of innovative, e-learning activities, resources and support
  • Maintain overall responsibility for the online element of skills programme(s)
  • Support colleagues in the effective use and understanding of learning technologies, practices and pedagogy
  • To assist the eLearning Technologist(s) in the planning, design and development of high-quality eLearning resources in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Under the direction of the eLearning manager and the eLearning Technologist(s) provide advice, guidance and demonstrations to staff on the opportunities for using technology in teaching, learning and assessment
  • Support the work of the Teaching Learning and Students team in delivering a high quality, customer-focused service and assist with effective communication


We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:


  • Experience of developing learning materials/activities for self-access, with the learner in mind
  • A broad understanding of the process of planning, designing, developing, testing and evaluating eLearning resources
  • Awareness of pedagogical perspectives on online learning and effective practice of delivering teaching and learning online
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with subject matter experts and other members of staff to deliver eLearning resources, materials and support
  • Proven initiative and judgement to resolve daily problems independently or with the support of members of the team
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Willingness and proven ability to undertake professional development to update skills and knowledge
  • Experience of working on eLearning projects and delivering successful outcomes
  • Experience of using software/web applications/technology for learning
