Summary

About the role

Working within the Supplier Strategy, Engagement and Partnerships team, your role will be central to building trusted partnerships with suppliers by providing routes to giving feedback to Tesco across the supplier survey programme. You\'ll be part of a team that is integral in identifying the opportunities that will support supplier partners. The work varies greatly, from supporting the launches of supplier surveys, managing survey working groups, supporting on building action plans for improvements with colleagues, and feeding into strategy with its suppliers. You will also be responsible for the yearly Supplier Feet on the Floor initiative. The team includes people with a wide range of skills and backgrounds, but all share an appetite for driving change and supporting suppliers that is critical to support the business and serve Tesco\'s customers, communities and planet a little better, every day. You will report to the Supplier Viewpoint Manager as part of the Head of Supplier Engagement\'s team.

You will be responsible for

  • Achieving great results by positively engaging and collaborating with others; you make our suppliers and colleagues feel valued.
  • Being flexible in your approach and embracing change.
  • Being an expert in the data requirements, data management, and an advanced user of Excel, in order to deliver your supplier survey responsibilities. - Supporting the Supplier Viewpoint Manager in the wider supplier surveys programme.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with external providers who provide services as part of the supplier survey programme.
  • Maintaining positive relationships with a wide variety of internal stakeholders as part of the supplier survey and supplier feet on the floor programmes.
  • Working with the wider Supplier Strategy, Engagement and Partnerships team to deliver projects that contribute to the overall Product strategy Supplier survey programme:
  • Monitoring the timelines and deliverables required for the Supplier Viewpoint (for the Tesco Booker Group) and Advantage surveys (for Tesco UK Food categories)
  • Monitoring interdependencies, any potential conflicts, and working with others across the Tesco Booker Group to deliver the supplier survey programme\'s objectives/scope.
  • Being fully responsible for the supplier surveys\' participant, hierarchy and competition data, including scope, collation, cleaning, cross-checking, and final checks.
  • Testing the supplier survey and supplier communications contents for the Viewpoint survey each wave.
  • Monitoring survey response rates when surveys are live, looking for opportunities to improve them and working with stakeholders to deliver those improvements.
  • Being a key point of contact for suppliers and colleague queries when surveys are open.
  • Managing the availability and delivery of results and action planning workshops for each supplier survey to all colleagues across the Tesco Booker Group, including business leaders.
