What will you be doing?
- To operate a Waste Transfer Station (WTS) & Household Recycling Centres (HRC) maintaining a strong safety culture in line with company objectives.
- To act as the first point of contact with incoming service users to advise best practice and excellent customer service for Waste Disposal, Transfer and Recycling.
- To maintain a strong team ethic with the current workforce, offering coaching & mentoring to new employees.
- To maintain organisational values engaging with stakeholders to demonstrate strong leadership and core objectives.
- To focus on innovation to enhance client expectations and deliver a first class service.
- To maintain and exceed current housekeeping standards, measuring performance (KPI's) and provide feedback to stakeholders through clear lines of reporting.
What are we looking for?
- Experience of managing a site with an environmental permit and knowledge of the waste industry
- Previous experience within a customer facing role
- Good and effective communicator
- IT Skills - Google platform.
- Working knowledge of the Road Traffic Act and EU driving hours
- IOSH Managing Safely or
