Summary

In your role as Mobile Catering Manager at Sodexo and will be required to cover schools within the area of Bristol and South Gloucestershire, you will supervise the hospitality team at our esteemed schools, making sure that our vibrant meals are served with a smile and that the kitchen and restaurant are operating efficiently. As the person your team looks to for guidance and support, you will have an impact on their day-to-day life and in turn, create a lively, productive work atmosphere. What you do:  

Supervise the arrangement and provision of hot and/or cold food from counters and steam tables
Supervise the restocking of food from counters and steam tables, as well as the breakdown of stations at the conclusion of service.
Oversee the chopping, seasoning, and cooking of fish, vegetables, meats, salads, soups, and other dishes.
Plan the menu, place supply orders, maintaining accounts and records when required (Must be Computer Literate)
Ensure that workstations and equipment are sanitised.
Travel as and when required to sites providing support
What you bring:

Must have experience of following recipes
Must have experience of cooking for a large number of people, possibly over 100
Capability to work for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours) in a standing position.
Professionalism, respect for others, and a positive attitude
Basic IT skill set
Fundamental food handling abilities
Possess prior experience supervising staff.
Possess excellent time management abilities
Previous experience in large scale cooking preferred however, not essential
Full UK Driving Licence required for this position and own vehicle required for this role.
