Summary


We are an energetic, creative and welcoming service which aims to offer and inspire excellence in community perinatal mental health care.

Perinatal Community Mental Health Services provide specialist care for women (and their babies) with moderate to severe mental illness, this includes offering pre-conceptual counselling alongside working with women during their pregnancy and up to the first 12 months after birth with expansion planned to 2 years postpartum.

We are committed to supporting training and developing as appropriate to the role in line with CNWL training provision.

An opportunity has become available in the Milton Keynes Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Band 3 Administrator to provide administrative support to the multi-disciplinary team. The role will be part-time (0.5 wte) and the post-holder will be required to be able to prepare correspondence using a range of electronic media. The post holder will work alongside the Team Administrator supporting the team with maintaining the KPI’s relating to the patient pathway on the clinical record system. As a Band 3 Administrator the successful applicant will have previous experience of working in a clinical environment and will have experience of using Microsoft Office suite of programmes including the use of databases to input, store, modify, structure, maintain & present data and information.

The post holder will be required to work across two team bases at MK CNWL HQ on the hospital campus and Stantonbury Health Centre.

We are moving towards SharePoint and knowledge of this would be helpful.

• To support with answering telephone calls into the service liaising both with service users and their families and professionals from other services.
• To ensure that all enquiries are dealt with in an appropriate and polite manner and that an appropriate response is initiated.
• To support with the booking of clinical appointments
• Support in the follow up of clinic documentation including medication updates to GP’s
• Co-ordinate patient appointments as requested and including appointment invite, sending relevant literature
